A muslim wife can relinquish her Mahr :
A Muslim girl who has attained puberty can relinquish her dower, it is not mandatory that she has attained majority (which is 18 years according to Indian Majority Act) or not. The remission of Mahr by wife is called Hibe-e-Mahr.
