Rafael Mariano Grossi is the current Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEas of March 2025. He recently inaugurated the S.N. Bose Building at the Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) in New Delhi. This new facility, named after the eminent Indian physicist Dr. Satyendra Nath Bose, houses state-of-the-art laboratories for nuclear security, reactor technology, radiation safety, and related fields. During the event, a six-month Certificate Course on Nuclear Engineering was also introduced, designed to provide comprehensive knowledge on various aspects of nuclear technology to international and national participants.
