Who was the first Indian bodybuilder to win the Mr.Universe title?

Monotosh Roy: • He participated in his first bodybuilding competition in 1939 but did not get along well. He vowed for success and committed to further action. He won Eastern Indian Bodybuilding Championship in 1939. He obtained the All India Bodybuilding Championship in 1947. • Roy moved to the UK in 1951, and took part in the Mr. Universe series. He has won the title of Mr. Universe in the category of Group III Amateur Division. • He worked as a mentor in several physical culture clubs after his return to India. He used to educate celebrities on fitness and yoga. In 1958 he established the Federation of Indian Bodybuilding.
