ATQ, Let the number of boys be 4x and girls be x, where 4x + x = 50 ⇒ x = 10. Then, boys = 40 and girls = 10. Total marks for boys = 40 × 38 = 1520. Total marks for girls = 10 × 45 = 450. Average marks for the class: Average = (1520 + 450)/50 = 39.4
