Mana village is located near the famous pilgrimage site of Badrinath in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The village has gained prominence recently after it was renamed as part of the government’s ‘Vibrant Village’ scheme mentioned in Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s Budget speech in Parliament. Mana village is around 3,219 meters above sea level and rests on the banks of River Saraswati.
