B. B and A spend 60% and 70% respectively of their incomes. Find the savings of A, if B saves Rs. 15000 in a month.
Solution
Let, income of B be Rs. ‘x’ Expenditure of B = 0.6x So, 0.40x = 15000 x = Rs. 37500 Income of A = 2 × 37500 = Rs. 75000 Savings of A = 30% of 75000 = Rs. 22500
