      A person sells each package of snacks for Rs. 10 each.

      On Monday, he sold 100 packages which was 45 more than that on Tuesday but 22 less than that on Wednesday. If he spends 50% of his income earned by selling snack packages on these 3 days, then find his saving in given 3 days

      Solution

      Number of packages of snack sold on Monday = 100 Number of packages of snack sold on Tuesday = 100 – 45 = 55 Number of packages of snack sold on Wednesday = 100 + 22 = 122 Therefore, his total income of 3 days = (100 + 55 + 122) × 10 = 277 × 10 = Rs. 2770 Therefore, savings of person in given 3 days = 0.50 × 2770 = Rs. 1385
