    Solution

ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 mission achieved a major milestone when its CHACE-2 payload made the first-ever direct observation of how a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) affects the lunar exosphere. During the May 10, 2024 CME, exospheric pressure increased and the number density of neutral atoms rose by an order of magnitude. The findings will help design future lunar bases to withstand space weather events
