The National Council for Teacher Education, under the direction of the Department of School Education and Literacy DoSEL, Ministry of Education, Government of India, conducted a five-day virtual orientation program on the National Mission for Mentoring NMM and the National Professional Standards for Teachers NPST. The program, held from 10-14 June 2024, was aimed at the capacity building of PM SHRI school teachers from 29 StatesUTsKVSNVS across the country, covering more than 1 lakh teachers, to effectively implement the National Education Policy NEP 2020.
