The Him-CONNECT event organised by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) will showcase 24 technologies, prototypes, patents, and pilot projects developed for the Indian Himalayan Region. These innovations are supported under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) and aim to address environmental challenges faced by the Himalayan ecosystem. The technologies focus on areas such as water security, climate adaptation, waste management, sustainable construction, renewable energy solutions, and nature-based livelihood models suited to fragile mountain ecosystems.
