In the first meeting of the Board of Peace for Gaza held

India participated in the first meeting of the Board of Peace for Gaza in Washington D.C. as an observer. The country was represented by Deputy Chief of Mission Namgya Khampa. Participation in observer status allowed India to follow discussions and developments related to the Gaza peace initiative without taking on a formal decision-making role. The Ministry of External Affairs clarified India’s position on the issue while reaffirming its longstanding support for diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict in West Asia through peaceful and negotiated means.
