Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas has inaugurated the CITIIS 2.0 Challenge This initiative is a collaborative effort of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in conjunction with the French Development Agency (AFD), Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), the European Union (EU), and the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA). The primary objective of the program is to support competitively selected projects that promote a circular economy, emphasizing integrated waste management at the city level, climate-oriented reform actions at the state level, and institutional strengthening and knowledge dissemination at the national level. The program is slated to span four years, running from 2023 to 2027
