    The overdraft limit for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) accounts is Rs. 10,000 . This facility is available to eligible account holders.   

      • Eligibility: An overdraft is available to one account per household, preferably the lady of the household. 
      • Conditions: To avail an overdraft beyond Rs. 2,000, the following conditions apply:  
        • 4 times the average monthly balance.   
    • 50% of the credit summations in the account during the preceding 6 months.   
    • Or, Rs. 10,000, whichever is lower.
