F is an independent clause but does not make a meaningful statement with B. So, B does not have a pair. Sentence C- Police blocked the main road to the PM’s office, using batons to beat the protestors A dependent clause follows C. D and E are both dependent clauses. D does not make a meaningful sentence when paired with C, but E follows C grammatically and contextually.
