Railway Group D Recruitment 2019: Exam Pattern

The recruitment process for Railways Group D will be done in two stages as follows:

1. First Stage: Online Computer Based Test (CBT)

2. Second Stage : Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

 Exam Pattern for First Stage Exam is as follows:

General Awareness on Current Affairs

For Second Stage (Physical Efficiency Test)

Male: Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 (one thousand) meters in 4 (four) minutes & 15 (fifteen) seconds in one chance.

Female: Should be able to run for a distance of 400 (four hundred) meters in 3 (three) minutes & 10 (ten) seconds in one chance.

CBT exam only for those apply for ALP

The candidate needs to secure a minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible.

Marking Scheme for Railway 2019

The Marking Scheme for Railway Group D Exam 2019 is as follows:-

  • 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.
  • No marks will be awarded/ deducted for unattempted questions.

Medium of Examination for Railway Group D 2019

All the tests will be conducted in English / Hindi Language.
