NBEMS Eligibility Criteria

You need to fulfill specific eligibility criteria prescribed by NBEMS in order to be eligible for the Junior Assistant and Junior Accountant posts. Your application will be cancelled if you fail to follow the required eligibility criteria. So, it is advised to go through the eligibility criteria carefully before you proceed to apply for the NBEMS exam. The date determining eligibility criteria for the NBEMS exam is October 20, 2023.

Note - No person who is not sound mentally and is bodily healthy and free from any physical defect will be recruited for NBEMS Junior Assistant and Junior Accountant posts. Also, you need to produce a medical certificate of physical fitness before your final appointment.

Age Limit

There are various eligibility criteria that need to be fulfilled to avoid the cancellation of your candidature. Age Relaxation

To qualify for the NBEMS exam, candidates must be less than 27 years of age as of October 20, 2024. Meeting this age criterion is a prerequisite for eligibility to participate in the examination for the Junior Assistant and Junior Accountant position in NBEMS.
There is no provision for age relaxation for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category. The age eligibility criteria remain consistent, and individuals from the EWS category must meet the specified age range without any relaxation for participation in the NBEMS examination.
No, there is no such mandatory requirement of experience for the post of junior Assistant in NBEMS. However, for the post of Junior Accountant, candidates who have three years of experience in dealing with accounts in Govt. institutions with knowledge of computer-based accounting will be given preference.
The upper age limit for the SC category to apply for the NBEMS recruitment is 32 years.

In order to participate in the recruitment process, such candidates need to apply through a proper procedure and shall have to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) whenever asked to do so.
