Educational Qualification

A candidate who is interested in applying for the UPSC ESIC Deputy Director is expected to possess a particular educational qualification failing which he/she will not be eligible for the application process.   • Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the union public service commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note II
  • The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the union public service commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the union Public Service commission, is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Experience Three years’ experience of administration or accounts or marketing or public relation or insurance or revenue or tax related matters in a government or public sector undertaking or autonomous Body.

Age Criteria

Besides adhering to the educational qualification, all the candidates willing to apply, will also have to follow the UPSC ESIC 2021 age limit as prescribed by the Commission in the official notification.
