ESIC Deputy Director Eligibility Criteria

UPSC has offered an excellent opportunity to the job aspirants by announcing vacancies for the post of Deputy Director in ESIC. Being a government organization, ESIC attracts a lot of government job aspirants. It is a golden opportunity as the vacancy has been released for a higher post this time. Each candidate should go through the UPSC ESIC eligibility criteria 2024 carefully and then only move on with the application process. Educational Qualification

A candidate who is interested in applying for the UPSC ESIC Deputy Director is expected to possess a particular educational qualification failing which he/she will not be eligible for the application process. All the candidates applying for the post need to have a degree from a recognized University.

Desirable	Qualified subordinate accounts services, or passed institute of costs and works accounts or master of business administration (Finance), or a degree in law. Experience in matters relating to social insurance or labour laws Note I Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the union public service commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note II The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the union public service commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the union Public Service commission, is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Experience	Three years’ experience of administration or accounts or marketing or public relation or insurance or revenue or tax related matters in a government or public sector undertaking or autonomous Body.

Age Criteria

Besides adhering to the educational qualification, all the candidates willing to apply, will also have to follow the UPSC ESIC 2021 age limit as prescribed by the Commission in the official notification. The age limit has been mentioned in the advertisement by UPSC and this is an excellent opportunity for those who possess the required qualification and age.

Age Relaxation

The candidates belonging to certain reserved categories and willing to apply for the ESIC Deputy Director post, will also be eligible for certain relaxation in age.
