The National Housing Bank Assistant Manager online written exam was conducted on December 24, 2022. In this article, we will be discussing the overall analysis of the NHB AM exam 2022.  The level of the examination was Moderate to Difficult This analysis is based solely on the feedback from the students who appeared in the test.

NHB AM Exam Pattern 

The NHB Assistant Manager objective test assesses four subjects that are- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The test is for 200 marks. The candidate needs to attain a minimum score in each section of the Objective test. This is followed by a Descriptive English test for 25 marks.

There were a total of 5 sections asked in the NHB AM Written Exam Exam 2022 i.e, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness, and English Language. Quantitative Aptitude

This section mostly comprised questions from Data Interpretation followed by Quadratic Equations and Data Sufficiency. As expected this year the level of quant was easy to moderate.

Reasoning

This section consisted majority of the questions from Puzzles and Seating Arrangement. As you can see from the table below, no questions were asked from Inequalities. The level of difficulty was Moderate. The question was not very lengthy either.

English Language

The level of assessment of the English section was easy.

General Awareness/Banking Awareness

The General Awareness section includes banking knowledge, general knowledge, current affairs, and economic knowledge. Not many questions were asked on current affairs from December. However, the maximum focus of this section was on current affairs for the last 3 months (i.e., November, October and September 2022). Around 8 questions were asked on static GK as well.

Here are a few memory-based topics on which General awareness questions were asked that we have learned from our students who took this exam.

Descriptive English English

In the English Language section, the majority of the questions were asked from Reading Comprehension followed by Cloze Test and Fillers. The overall level of this section was “Easy to Moderate”.                                                                                                           

Last but not least, this section is Descriptive Writing. It had 2 questions- A letter and An Essay with a time limit of 30 minutes.
