    Question

    I. 3x2 - 14x + 15 = 0 II. 15 y

    2 - 34 y + 15 = 0 In the following questions two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations. Give answer if;
    A if x = y Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B if x > y Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C if x < y Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D if x ≥ y Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    I. 3x2-14x+15 = 0 Pairs are 5,9 So by changing its signs & dividing by a i.e.3, we will get x = 5/3 , 9/3 = 5/3, 3 II. 15 y² - 34 y + 15 = 0 Pairs are 9,25 So by changing its signs & dividing by a i.e.15, we will get y = 9/15 , 25/15 = 3/5, 5/3 Hence, x ≥ y
