    In the questions given below, there are three statements followed by three conclusions I, II and III. You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known facts.

    Statements: All Sheep are Peacock.  

    All Peacock are Deer.   Mostly Sheep are Hen.   Conclusion: I. Few Hen are Peacock. II. Some Deer are Sheep. III. All Sheep are Deer.

    Solution

    Mostly Sheep are Hen (I) → Conversion → Some Hen are Sheep (I) + All Sheep are Peacock (A) → Some Hen are Peacock (I). Hence conclusion I follows. All Sheep are Peacock (A) + All Peacock are Deer (A) → All Sheep are Deer (A) → Conversion → Some Deer are Sheep (I). Hence conclusion II and III follow.
