Question
Statements: Only a few Careers are Visions.
Some Visions are not Missions. Some Missions are not Ambitions. Only a few Ambitions are Goals. Conclusions: I. All Careers are Vision. II. Some Goals can be Vision. Â III. All Goals are Ambitions. In the question below there are four statements followed by three conclusions I, II and III. You have to take the four given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.Solution
Only a few Careers are Visions → Some Careers are Vision (I) and Some Careers are not Vision (O). Hence conclusion I does not follow. Some Vision are not Missions (O) + Some Missions are not Ambitions (O) → Probable conclusion → Some Vision are Ambitions (I) + Only a few Ambitions are Goals (I) → Probable conclusion → Some Goals can be Vision (I). Hence conclusion II follows. Only a few Ambitions are Goals → All Goals may be Ambitions (A). Hence conclusion III does not follow.
