In each of the questions below are given some statements followed by some conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even, if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts

Statements :         Some fathers are mother.

                                All mothers are son.

                                Some son are daughter.

Conclusions:         I. Some fathers may be daughter.

                                II. All mothers may be father

Solution

Some fathers are mother (I) + All mothers are son (A) ⇒ Some fathers are son (I) + Some son are daughter (I) ⇒ no conclusion cannot be drawn. Hence, conclusion I will not follow. Some fathers are mother (I) ⇒ conversion ⇒ Some mother are fathers (I) [Probable conclusion] ⇒ All mothers are father. Hence, conclusion II will follow.
