    aluminium. Only a few aluminium are copper. All steel are metal. Conclusions: I. All copper being metal is a possibility. II. All aluminium being copper is a possibility. III. No steel is copper. In each of the questions below some statements are given followed by some Conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even, if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

    Solution

    No steel is aluminium (E) + Some aluminium are copper (I) → Some copper are not steel (O) + All steel are metal (A) → All copper may be metal (A). Hence conclusion I follows but conclusion III does not follow. Only a few aluminium are copper → Some aluminium are copper (I) and Some aluminium are nor copper (O). Hence conclusion II does not follow.
