Hence, conclusion III will not follow. Some desks are tables (I) + All tables are chairs (A) ⇒   Some desks are chairs (I). Hence, conclusion III will follow. No stool is a desk (E) ⇒  conversion ⇒  Some desks are not stools (O) ⇒  probable conclusion ⇒  Some desks may not be stools (I). Hence, conclusion IV will follow.
