    desk are tables. All tables are chairs. Some chairs are benches. Conclusion: I .  No chair is a stool. II. Some benches are desks. III. Some desks are chairs. IV. Some desks may not be stools. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

No stool is a desk (E) ⇒  conversion ⇒  Some desks are not stools (O) ⇒  probable conclusion ⇒  Some desks may not be stools (I). Hence, conclusion IV will follow.
