      Statements:  Some heights are weight.

      Some weight are tall. Some tall are short. Conclusions:  I. No height is tall. II. Some heights are tall. In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and  II. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

      Solution

      Some heights are weight (I) + Some weight are tall (I) ⇒ No conclusion. Hence neither conclusion I nor II follow but it will make a complementary pair.  Hence either conclusion I or II follows.
