Each friend has a different favorite subject, namely Reasoning, Maths, English, Current affairs, COMPUTER, Hindi and Biology also but not necessarily in the same order. Babita likes to study English and Illa does not like COMPUTER. Anika likes Hindi and studies in the 10th standard with only one friend who likes Current affairs. Illa studies with two other friends. Both the friends who study with Illa and she herself like subjects which include COMPUTER, Reasoning and English. Dhuruv studies in the 11th standard with only one friend and does not like Maths. Ishika studies with only one friend. The one who likes Reasoning does not study in the 10th or 11th standard. Ishika does not like COMPUTER, Current affairs and English. Chandni does not like English, COMPUTER and Reasoning.Solution
Anika likes Hindi and studies in the 10th standard with only one friend who likes Current affairs. Anika studies in 10th standard with only one friend it means only two friends out of the seven friends studies in 10th standard. Dhuruv studies in the 11th standard with only one friend and does not like Maths. Dhuruv studies with only one friend means out of the seven friends only two studies in 11th standard. Hence , three friends study in 12th standard. Ishika studies with only one friend. The one who likes Reasoning does not study in the 10th or 11th standard. Ishika does not like COMPUTER, Current affairs and English. As, Ishika doesn’t like Current affairs and studies with only one friend, therefore, Ishika must be studying with Dhuruv not Anika.
Illa studies with two other friends. Both the friends who study with Illa and she herself like subjects which include only COMPUTER, Reasoning and English. Friends who study in 12th standard like COMPUTER, Reasoning and English, therefore, students who like Maths and Biology are in 6 th standard. As, Dhuruv doesn’t like maths hence, Ishika likes maths and Dhuruv likes Biology. Chandni does not like English, COMPUTER and Reasoning. Therefore, Chandni likes Current affairs. And also, the remaining students Girish and Babita study in seventh standard.
Babita likes to study English and Illa does not like COMPUTER. As, Babita likes English and Illa does not like COMPUTER therefore, she likes to study Reasoning and Girish likes COMPUTER. Â Final table:
