train. The train crosses him in 5 seconds. If speed of the train is 90 km/hr, find the time taken to cross a platform of 100 metres.Solution
Train speed = 90 × (5/18) = 25 m/sec
Relative speed = 25 - 10 = 15 m/sec
L / 15 = 5 ⇒ L = 75 metres
Time to cross platform = (75 + 100)/25 = 175/25 = 7 seconds
If 48 + 26 = 8
