Let the speed of train be 'v' m/s.
Length of train = '9v' metres
So, (9v + 504) ÷ 21 = 'v'
Or, 9v + 504 = 21v
Or, 12v = 504
So, 'v' = 42
Therefore, length of the train = 9 × 42 = 378 metres
