    If Pawan can complete a piece of work in 6 days (P = 1/6) Mantu can complete the same work in 2 days (M = 1/2) Then working together, they can finish (2/3) of the work in one day (P + M = 2/3) Using the formula {time × rate of work = work done} we find that they will complete the entire work in (3/2)days or 1½ days when working together
