    Solution

    Ratio of efficiency of A and B = 5: 1
    A will take 1/5 of time as compared to B.
    Say, B takes 5x days and A takes x days.
    ∴ 5x – x = 36 ⇒ x = 9
    ∴ B takes 9 × 5 = 45 days to do the work.
