Speed of car ‘R’ = 900 ÷ 30 = 30 m/s So, relative speed of car ‘S’ with respect to car ‘R’ = 40 – 30 = 10 m/s Distance between the two cars = 180 metres So, time taken by car ‘S’ to meet car ‘R’ = 180 ÷ 10 = 18 seconds
