Question
A truck was moving at 50 km/hr and after ‘x’ hours it
increased its speed by 15 km/hr. Then, it continued at the new speed for (x + 4) hours. If the distance it covered during this latter journey was 468 km, how much distance did it cover during the first ‘x’ hours?Solution
ATQ,
65 × (x + 4) = 468
Or, x + 4 = 7.2
Or, x = 3.2
Therefore, required distance travelled = 50 × 3.2 = 160 km
Calculate: 2.4 + 0.86 − 1.25 × 0.4
- What will come in place of (?), in the given expression.
125% of 96 + 33% of 300 = ? Simplify: 3/5 + 0.4 × 2.5
Find the value of 16 X [(8 - 5) of 12 ÷ 4].
(13)2 - 3127 ÷ 59 = ? x 4
√1369 + √1024 + √841 =(?)2 − 46
116 x (2/3)% of 420 + 666 x (2/3)% of 186 = 457 x (1/7)% of 126 + 555 x (5/9)% of 198 + ?
Find the value of the given expression.
[76 – {90 ÷ 5 × (24 – 36 ÷ 3) ÷ 3}]
? = 20% of 1200 + 256
