    Solution

    Let the length of train be x m. According to the question, => 90 x (5/18) = x/16 => x = 400 m Length of the platform = 400 x (13/8) = 650 m {Speed conversion = 90km/hr = 90 × (5/18)m/s = 25 m/s} Required time = (400 + 650)/25 = 42 seconds
