Let speed of car be s kmph Time taken by car travel total distance = 100/25 x 2 = 8 hrs Time taken by truck to cover total distance = 100/30 x 12 = 40 hrs so, s x 8 = (120 - s) x 40 8s = 4800 - 40s s = 100 so, riquired distance = 20 x 40 = 800 km
