    Interest earned from scheme ‘A’ = (5000 × 3 × 16) ÷ 100 = Rs. 2400 Interest earned from scheme ‘B’ = (6600 × 3 × 9) ÷ 100 = Rs. 1782 So, difference in interest earned = 2400 – 1782 = Rs. 618
