Let the incomes of Vineet and Vidya be Rs. 15x and Rs. 8x respectively. According to the question, => 0.60 x 15x + 0.75 x 8x = 30000 => 9x + 6x = 30000 => x = 2000 Required difference = 15x – 8x = 7x = Rs.14000
