Total population of city P and Q is 4030 and 6300 respectively. If the ratio of number of males to females in city is P and Q is 9:4 and 4:3 respectively, then find the difference between number of males in city P and number of females in city Q.
Solution
Number of males in city P = 9/13 x 4030 = 2790 & number of females in city Q = 4/7 x 6300 = 2700 Desired difference = 2790 – 2700 = 90
