Time taken by βQβ to complete the work = 1.2 Γ 15 = 18 days
Let the total work be 90 units
Efficiency of βPβ = 90/15 = 6 units/day
Efficiency of βQβ = 90/18 = 5 units/day
Work completed by βPβ and βQβ in 6 days = (6 + 5) Γ 6 = 66 units
Therefore, y = (90 β 66)/6 = 4
