Question

    In the following questions two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations. Give answer if; (1) p>q, (2) p<q, (3) p=q, (4) p ≥ q (5) p ≤ q

    (I)`3p + 2q - 58 = 0` (II)`4p + 4q

    = 92`
A 1 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 2 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 3 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 4 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E 5 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    I.`3p + 2q - 58 = 0` ,or 3p + 2q = 58 II. 4p + 4q = 92 ,or q + p = 23,or p = 23 – q Or 3(23 – q) + 2q = 58[ From I ] Or 69 – 3q + 2q = 58or , q = 11 Also, p = 23 – q = 23 – 11 = 12 , Hence, p > q.
