A Rs.1200 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs.1300 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs.1270 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs.1120 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let cost price of the article is Rs. ‘8x’. So, marked price of the article = 1.625 × 8x = Rs. ‘13x’ Selling price of the article = 0.92 × 13x = Rs. 11.96x According to question; 11.96x – 8x = 396 Or, 3.96x = 396 Or, x = 100 So, cost price of the article = 8 × 100 = Rs. 800 Marked price of the article = 1.625 × 800 = Rs. 1300
