      Let CP = Rs.100, SP (with tax) = Rs.129  New   SP = 100 – 15 = Rs.85   Effective discount = 129 – 85 = Rs.44   So, at SP of 85 ≡ discount = 44   At SP of 5950 ≡ discount = 5950 × 44 /85 = Rs.3080
