      Let cost price of the article is Rs. ‘x’ So, Selling price of the article = 0.8 × 1.6 × x = Rs. 1.28x According to question; 1.28x – x = 420 Or, 0.28x = 420 Or, x = 1500 Desired Percentage = [(2400 – 1500)/1500] × 100 = 60%
