ALTERNATE MTEHOD: Let CP = 100 So he sold 2/5^{th} I,e 40 in 25% gain so SP1 = 40+25%of 40 = 40 +10 = 50 and he sold remaining 3/5^{th} I,e 60 in 20% gain so SP2 = 60+20%of 60 = 60 +20 = 72 So total SP = 50 +72 = 122 Hence Profit% = 22%
