    Let the CP of whole stock be Rs. x. CP of 2/5 = Rs. 2x/5 CP of 3/5 = Rs. 3x/5 Total SP = Rs. (125 % of2x/5 ) + (120% of 3x/5 ) ⇒ x/2 + 18x/25 = 61x/50 Gain = - x = 61x/50-x=11x/50 Gain% = 100 = 22% 11x/50*1/x*100=22%
