is Rs.660 and profit earned is 25%. One vendor counts his profit on cost price while other one counts his profit on selling price. Find the difference of profit earned by both the vendors.Solution
CP of item for first vendor = 660/(100 + 25)% = Rs.528 CP of item for second vendor = 660 × (100 - 25)% = Rs.495 Profit earned by the first vendor = 660 – 528 = Rs.132 Profit earned by the second vendor = 660 – 495 = Rs.165 Required difference = Rs. (165 – 132) = Rs.33
