    Solution

    Cost price of cloth for Ramesh = Rs. 500

    Ramesh sold to Suresh at 10% loss → Selling price = 500 – (10% of 500) = 500 – 50 = Rs. 450

    Suresh sold to Rajesh at 20% profit → Selling price = 450 + (20% of 450) = 450 + 90 = Rs. 540

    Rajesh sold to Raj at 10% profit → Selling price = 540 + (10% of 540) = 540 + 54 = Rs. 594

    Raj paid Rs. 594 for the cloth.
