The average monthly income of A and B is Rs. 6050. The
average monthly income of B and C is Rs. 6500 and the average monthly income of A and C is Rs. 6250. The monthly income of A is:Solution
A + B = 6050 × 2 = 12100
B + C = 6500 × 2 = 13000
A + C = 6250 × 2 = 12500
Now, (A + B) + (B + C) + (A + C) = 12100 + 13000 + 12500 = 37600
This equals 2(A + B + C).
So, A + B + C = 37600 ÷ 2 = 18800
A = (A + B + C) – (B + C) = 18800 – 13000 = 5800
