    Solution

    First five multiples of ‘x’ are ‘x’, ‘2x’, ‘3x’, ‘4x’ and ‘5x’
    Average of first five multiples of ‘x’ = {(5x + x)/2} = ‘3x’
    First five multiples of ‘3x’ are ‘3x’, ‘6x’, ‘9x’, ‘12x’ and ‘15x’
    Average of first five multiples of ‘3x’ = {(15x + 3x)/2} = ‘9x’
    ATQ;
    9x – 3x = 162
    Or, 6x = 162
    Or, x = 27
