Let, x be the common multiple. 1 rupee coins = x 50 paise coins = 3x 25 paise coins = 5x 10 paise coins = 7x According to the question, => (100 × x) + (50 × 3x) + (25 × 5x) + (10 × 7x) = 22.25 × 100 => 100x + 150x + 125x + 70x = 2225 => 445x = 2225 => x = 5 Therefore, the number of, 1 rupee coins = 5 50 paise coins = 15 25 paise coins = 25 10 paise coins = 35
