Question
A,B, C are three points such that AB = 9 cm, BC = 11 cm
and AC = 20 cm. The number of circles passing through points A,B,C is:Solution
A, B, C three points. AB = 9 cm BC = 11 cm AC = 20 cm Property of formation of triangle is; Sum of any two sides must be greater than the 3rd side. i.e. a + b > c where a, b, c are three sides of the triangle. ∵ AB + BC = AC ∴ No triangle can be formed using the three sides given. ∴ No circle will pass through the points A, B, C.
Simplify:
6x + 8y - [(12x + 6y) - (4x + 3y) + 2y] - 4xIf 9x2 + 16y2 = 24xy, then find the ratio of ‘x’ and ‘y’, respectively.
- Suppose [a + (1/16a)] = 3, then the value of [16a³ + (1/256a³)] is:
If, 6x + y = 20, and 2xy = 32, and 6x > y, then find the value of 216x³ – y³.
If x + 1/x = 2, find x⁷ + 1/x⁷.
(x – 6) 2 + (y + 2) 2 + (z – 4) 2 = 0, then find the value of 4x - 3y + z.
